Following up on the success of their 2008 book, James and Karla Murray are back with the follow up. Store Front II: A History Preserved, the Disappearing Face of New York documents even more street facades in the Big Apple. As the guardian states quite strikingly although not too surprisingly: “There is a sense of urgency to the images: one-fifth of the stores in the current book have since closed; while two-thirds of the stores featured in the first book are no more.”
